Conclusion:

Our results demonstrate that CPAP is a safe, feasible and effective tool to mitigate diaphragmal motion with good patient compliance. In addition, distance to organs at risk such as the bowel or mean lung dose might be improved. There is a need for further studies to identify patients that would benefit the most from CPAP ventilation for SBRT inter-fraction motion management.
