Physics - Inter-fraction motion management and offline adaptive radiotherapy
ESTRO 2024
Some patients may have important gaze angles changes, resulting in different doses given to visual organs. NTCP models may yield unreliable predictions of vision sparing at the individual level unless variability in retina and optic nerve positions are taken into account during adaptive radiotherapy and / or gaze controlled. Dose differences on the optic nerves will be shown and consequences on visual perception as illustrated by visual perimetry by patients.
Keywords: Dose prediction, Voxel-based, Retina
