Conclusion:
The Dice Similarity Coefficient (DSC) proved to be a robust metric for assessing treatment precision. The results underscore the DSC's potential both as a tool for evaluating treatment accuracy and as a guide for clinical decision making, particularly when considering the acquisition of repeat CTs in proton therapy for breast cancer patients with a non-reconstructed chest wall.
