Conclusion:

Our breast technique appears to be robust for clinical breathing motions, with stable breath holds and with DVH parameters uncorrelated to breathing motion amplitude. We have the possibility to provide visual feedback to the patient, but this was not used in this study to establish the baseline robustness of our treatment plan and setup. Although the results indicate good dose-distributions without visual feedback, we may apply visual feedback for selected patients, as several patients indicated in a separate study that they felt more confident in their breath holds with visual feedback.
