Conclusion:

The impact of anatomical changes and offline adaptation on dose metrics to the targets and OARs was investigated for DE plans in patients with hypoxic HN tumors. While a few minor dosimetric advantages for adaptation were observed, plans were generally robust to anatomical changes. However, in one case, greater changes were seen due to shoulder positioning, for which more effective fixation and/or daily adaptation could potentially mitigate these issues.
