Conclusion:
We presented a novel method for prostate IFM analysis in MRgRT of prostate cancer using a voxel-based approach. Anisotropic margins, derived from population-based motion histograms accounted in most cases for IFM. In comparison to AP and SI directions, smaller motion was found for LR direction. The largest motion was determined for SI direction. These findings highlight the need for inclusion of anisotropic margins in treatment planning for MRgRT of prostate cancer, especially in the ultra-hypo-fractionated treatments.
