Conclusion:

Though the 2nd way of contouring needs slightly more time, it has resulted in a higher reproducibility of the created contours, as proven in other studies developed in our institution. Moreover, with the first approach, the system is able to calculate the dosimetry while the task of verifying the created CTVs, whereas, in the second approach, this process is interrupted, thus requiring more time for the dosimetry acceptance task.

The total time of the adaptation process increases when using the 2nd approach, but it is considered manageable as more robust treatment volumes are achieved, which will allow margins to be reduced to PTV in the near future.
