In our cohort, non-linear SVM models showed a good prediction of adverse outcomes while the often-used logit models did not perform well in predicting either local recurrence or vertebral body fracture. It is essential that the resulting algorithms are validated in an independent cohort before they can be implemented in clinical practice.
