percentiles. Schemes analyzed are also shown, according to the TCP value given by the studies, and to the EQD2 calculated with the median values obtained for the radiobiological parameters. Fifty percent of the schemes are inside the 50% percentile of our estimation for both situations, with only 2 schemes beyond the 99% percentile bands.

Conclusion:

A Monte Carlo-based procedure was proposed to estimate radiobiological parameters using only the data provided by the studies in terms of TCP, without accessing to the raw data. The estimated TCP and radiobiological parameters are consistent with published data, which proves the validity of the method.
