Conclusion:

With this phantom the found deviation between SGRT and EPID is within the clinical tolerance of 1 mm. It is recommended to check the correlation and accuracy between the real target position and optical measured by the SGRT system during commission to assure that the system is working accurate during treatment of clinical SRS patients. This holds especially for couch rotations, because small deviations in measurements by the SGRT system may occur. We will continue to investigate if further fine tuning of the SGRT system is possible and what could be the reason for the deviation at 90 degrees couch rotation. The calibration and/or position of the cameras may play a role in finding a solution for improvements.
