Results:

DDM was initially deemed appropriate for four patients: one abdominal soft tissue palliation and three lung cancer palliations. In these cases, the ReRT target either partially overlapped the old target or was adjacent to it. Prescriptions had been changed from their intended fractionation, see Table 1. DDM QA took an average of 53 minutes per patient. In one case, QA showed that DDM was unreliable, as the best achievable deformation was too poor in the region of high dose gradient due to tumor growth. Consequently, this case was not further investigated. In one case, the treating oncologists stated they might have chosen the initial dose prescription for treatment instead of the changed actual treatment dose (Table 1).
