Conclusion:

Though the mean offsets of targets were less than 1 mm in CBCT and ExacTrac, the overall mean offsets in the aspects of 3D phantom positional error and 2D field-target coincidence were significantly smaller in CBCT than in ExacTrac (P < 0.05, with Bonferroni correction). It is inferred that the utilization of the HyperArc system, which employs CBCT for image registration and correction, would yield similar results as in this study.
