Conclusion:
During the last five years, LN boost has been used in 18 BC patients at a single institute in Denmark. All the patients had locally advanced disease. The most common localization was IMN, and the most common RT dose was 10 Gy in 5 fractions. For the majority of the patients, the LN boost was defined from the pre-chemotherapy PET-CT scan. However, no guidelines for LN boost are available and more knowledge about the effect of a LN boost is needed to standardize the treatment. The next step in this study is to expand the population to include LABC patients treated with LN boost in all the Danish Radiotherapy Departments.
