Conclusion:

TDD-MRI on a clinical 1.5 T MR sim showed time-dependent ADC changes within the tumor volume showing both areas of restricted diffusion and areas of substantial water exchange, providing indications about cell sizes and cell density, and membrane permeability, respectively. The results indicate that TDD-MRI has potential to assess tumor heterogeneity for biologically adapted radiotherapy on clinical 1.5 T MR sim systems.
