Conclusion:

Our results demonstrate that the choice of parameter value strongly impacts the identification of high-risk sub regions on dose-response maps. More work is needed to make the methodology more robust to produce more reliable and reproducible results. Furthermore, this study underscores the importance of reporting all parameter details in manuscripts to facilitate external result validation of dose-response maps in PCa patients treated with radiotherapy. Future work will focus on quantifying these differences observed in DRMs, and optimal parameter values to generate DRM will be sought.
