There was a significant (p=0.002) reduction in the mean dose to the functional sub-volume with a median reduction of 1.5 Gy, as shown in Figure 1a. There was also a significant reduction in both the PTV D 99% (p=0.002) and D 95% (p=0.004), as shown in Figure 1b. However, all plans were still within the mandatory tolerance and were deemed acceptable by a clinical oncologist.
