Conclusion:

Tumor invasion modeling indicating the volumes containing much lower number of tumor cells than the threshold for visibility on medical images, may provide useful information regarding the likelihood of tumor progression at an early time point for follow up, which could potentially lead to improved treatment decisions for patients with GBMs.
