Conclusion:
Phosphorylated STAT3 is highly expressed in the microglia and reactive astrocytes pertaining to the areas of brain RN. Targeting STAT3 via inhibition represents a promising strategy to ameliorate symptomatic RN in BMs patients undergoing SRS. Future studies should focus on evaluating the role of STAT3 inhibitors that cross the BBB to validate their potential as a therapeutic target.
