Radiobiology - Microenvironment

ESTRO 2024

Conclusion:

In conclusion, RIS vascular niches are co-opting the pro-tumoral microenvironment, in favor of highly aggressive surviving tumor cells after radiotherapy. Targeting those RIS vascular niches with new senotherapies opens new avenues to propose an innovative strategy limiting deadly GBM recurrence.
