42 participants completed the study, concordance was high, with all but one wearing the watch for the full trial period. 81% (n=34) of the participants completed and returned the experience questionnaire. 88% (n=30) took bi daily ECGs, with 60% (n=18) of these taking ECGs more than twice daily. Participants gave the ScanWatch a mean comfort rating of 8 (range 1-10, 1=uncomfortable, 10=extremely comfortable) and found it easy to perform the ECGs (mean 9, range 2-10, 1=extremely difficult, 10=extremely easy) (Figure 2). The main reasons stated for watch removal were bathing/showering and to charge the device.
