recurrence while with respect to CTV-P2 43 patients (97.7%) had in field failure and only 1 patient (2.3%) had out of filed recurrence .

Conclusion:

LF was the most common pattern of failure in patients with oropharyngeal cancers treated with IMRT. In field failure was the most common pattern of LF with respect to 95% isodose. Although marginal recurrences were higher with respect to CTV-P1, when COM was evaluated, the recurrence was infield for CTV-P1 in majority of the patients.
