Conclusion:

This study presents the first comprehensive survey of emerging patterns-of-care for cardiac MRgRT. It is evident that MRI-guided cardiac radiotherapy is technically feasible for oncological indications and resolves the practical limitations of invasive treatment approaches. While on-board MRI enables unprecedented in-room targeting capabilities on the MR-linac, image scoring performed in this study indicates the desire for further refinement of imaging sequences. This study provides a baseline for future improvements of cardiac radioablation treatments on the 1.5 T MR-linac including extension towards cardiac arrhythmias.
