Tab 1: Spatial resolution (10% MTF) and standard deviation results of the three scanners. The PCCT values are reported only for the optimal energy pair of 70 and 180 keV. The pCT values are reported both for Hann Filter (HF) equal to 0.90 and 1.00.

Conclusion:

The comparison between the three scanners reveals a potential higher RSP accuracy of the pCT system compared to x-ray CT scanners, at the same level of spatial resolution. A noise comparison at equivalent dose is under investigation. Moving closer to a clinical scenario, a heterogeneous, stabilized biological phantom was recently imaged with the three scanners, to assess their impact on RSP-map estimation on real biological targets, and analysis is currently ongoing.
