necessary – re-contoured on the CBCT images. CBCT-Synthesized-CT (SynCT) was created from CBCT images and the plan dose was re-calculated.

Results:

In the preliminary analysis we selected three patients with different compliance in breath holding (well-reproducible breath W-RB, intermediate-reproducible breath I-RB, bad-reproducible breath B-RB), treated in 16 fractions for left side breast cancer. Target coverage in terms of V95% and OAR DVH metrics (Ipsilateral lung V16 Gy, mean heart dose, LAD D1cc) was evaluated and compared with the approved plan.

The target coverage and OARs dose did not show significant variation among the original and the re-calculated plans, even though a greater variability was found in OARs dose for B-RB patient .
