Purpose/Objective:

Several devices are available for breast cancer patients positioning, from very simple to more complex systems. In this study, we compared the relevance and ease of use of 2 different devices: (1) MammoRX and (2) AIO Solution (Orfit industries) (Figure 1). We first assessed the interfraction position deviations registered for both devices. Then we evaluated the degree of satisfaction of the radiation therapists (RTTs) using both systems during the trial

Material/Methods:

This was a prospective trial including patients over 18 years old and with a good arm mobilisation treated for breast cancer with and without lymph-nodes. Patients were randomized in 2 arms, according to the positioning device: MammoRX versus (vs) AIO Solution.

During the treatment, patients were positioned based on tattoos, without surface guidance. Patient and target positions were verified on the pre-treatment CBCT (Cone-Beam Computed Tomography). For each patient, 15
