Conclusion:

The statistical analysis highlighted the advantages of replanning and the creation of a new immobilization mask during the treatment sessions. The introduction of a clinical decision tree based on image shifts and quality could facilitate the identification of the optimal solution for individual patients, ultimately leading to reduced treatment times and costs. Thus, the role of radiation technologists is crucial for optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of replanning for H&N cancer patients.
