RTT - Patient care, preparation, immobilisation and IGRT verification protocols

ESTRO 2024

Conclusion:

SGRT proved to be valuable in reducing the daily set-up errors for kV/kVs in the vertical and lateral direction and for CBCTs in all translational directions. At initial kV/kV, population systematic and random errors were similar, tattoo based set-ups had larger vertical and lateral errors, with more significant systematic and random errors in the longitudinal direction using SGRT. CBCT imaging results indicated lower population systematic and random errors using SGRT compared to tattoo-based set ups in all translational directions.
