Conclusion:

Our study, conducted by an RTT during her master thesis, highlights the potential benefits of reduced CT-to-delivery timeframes for the TMI plan optimization. CT-4 exhibited improved agreement with CBCT compared to CT-15. These findings support the use of AI-based tools to expedite treatment plan optimization, enabling enhanced accuracy and efficiency in TMI delivery. This study was part of the AuToMI project to automate the planning of TMI and funded by the Italian Ministry of Health GR-2019-12370739.
