Conclusion:

This study collected perspectives on upright radiotherapy from a total of 94 volunteers who had completed radiotherapy lying down.

Patient views on radiotherapy body positioning are diverse and multifaceted. However, consistently across the three cohorts, <20% of participants indicated an overall preference for lying down, over upright body positioning.
