RTT - Patient experience and quality of life

ESTRO 2024

Conclusion:

We demonstrate the value of a real-world application of an ACT-based group intervention for FCR delivered either in-person or digitally. Participants experienced improvements across all outcome measures, for both delivery modes. Analysis comparing changes in outcome measures between in-person and digital delivery found the interventions to be comparable. Providing the option of both forms of delivery may improve accessibility for those living in remote locations, with disability, as well as cost saving benefits. Our results support the potential value of ACT-based group programmes for FCR in other patient populations.
