decrease in the amount of time required to contour (p<0.001) and the total treatment time (p<0.05). No statistically significant change was found in the adaptive time for the related samples test.

Conclusion:

We successfully implemented an APRT specialized in online adaptive contouring for radiation therapy treatments. This study demonstrated the utility an APRT can provide to a modern department conducting advanced ART. The data presented shows statistical improvements in contouring time and total treatment time, which suggests that an APRT specifically trained to manage ART contouring can reduce physician workload and patient treatment time.
