Conclusion:

Our results demonstrate a great enthusiasm of RTTs towards involvement in R&D activities. Research forums have been implemented and a R&D formal training competency framework is being developed at our department contributing to the education and continuous professional development RTTs. In the future, we will be looking at assessing the impact of these measures as well as identifying time management strategies to ensure a higher R&D activity conducted by all RTTs.
