Conclusion:

he competency related to contouring of OARs was not only maintained for an extended period following educational interventions but, in many cases, improved. This may be due to the spiral curriculum allowing for deeper understanding and retention of subject matter over time. Students also completed a practice placement block where they were exposed to the day-to-day clinical operations within a RT department, exposure to treatment planning systems and image guided radiotherapy (IGRT) practices. The next step would be to assess the impact of this type of program in clinical practice.

Keywords: teaching impact, delineation, contour variability
