Femoral head and Bowel constraints were also aligned with Australian guidelines 1 as part of the review.

This study also led to a change in practice using RapidPlan™ for prostate dosimetry planning with updated target objectives within the model and instructing users to separate the PTV from the CTV in dose optimisation. This ensured that the plan D Max would be centrally located within the CTV.

Conclusion:

This study presents a novel method to incorporate practice review into the clinical workflow at an institution with multiple campuses. Clinical goals and planning procedures have now been updated to reflect best practice. These changes have made planning practices consistent across the five campuses as we continue to support each other through low staffing periods and ensures all patients receive optimal care regardless of treatment location.
