Conclusion:

The present analysis reports preliminary results of the first 14 patients enrolled in the study. These preliminary data support the feasibility and safety of preoperative APBI which might be considered as an attractive treatment strategy in early BC setting. Updated data with additional patients, longer follow-up and findings that will become available from similar ongoing investigations will give a clearer indication about this innovative approach.
