Conclusion:

A risk estimation model using a baseline ACE risk calculator sensitive to higher cardiovascular risk in specific populations and MHD is proposed for individualised estimation of the absolute risk of cardiac morbidity in breast cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy. This risk estimation may guide clinical decision-making regarding the requirement and nature of cardiac sparing radiotherapy for individual patients, based on factors that determine the baseline risk of ACE.

Keywords: ACE risk estimation, Mean Heart dose.
