Conclusion:

This study is the first to apply IBDM to breast radiotherapy. The result from this study highlights dose within identified sub-regions in breast, axillary lymph node level 1, major pectoralis is associated with acute and persistent breast, arm and shoulder pain after breast radiotherapy.
