Conclusion:

Our institutional workflow demonstrated MRgRT to be feasible and effectively facilitated inter-fractional monitoring of target volumes for GBM patients. Frequent acquisition of MR images during CRT revealed notable reductions in T2/FLAIR volumes, especially in the early stages of RT regimen (prior to the second week). Conversely, the cavity/tumor consistently exhibited a non-time dependent substantial volume reduction throughout the entire course of RT (from week 1 through week 6 of CRT). This series represents the largest series reported, for our knowledge, using the BrainTx package. These findings underscore the potential advantages of integrating an adaptive MRgRT approach for GBMs to account for tumor dynamic changes and tumor migration during a fractionated treatment course.
