Patients with LGG treated with PBS-PT achieved excellent long-term survival and tumor control, with exceptionally low rates of high-grade late toxicity, and favorable QoL and SH. PBS-PT may thus be a promising treatment option of LGG patients for whom radiotherapy is indicated.
Keywords: Low-grade glioma, proton therapy, sexual health

Purpose/Objective:
From a graph theory perspective, the brain can be conceptualized as a structural network of nodes within the grey matter, interconnected by white matter tracts (Bullmore & Sporns, 2009; Sporns, 2013). This network, known as the structural connectome, can be affected by both the presence of a glial tumor and its treatment, which includes surgery and/or chemoradiotherapy. As observed in other neurological diseases, these network changes can give rise to complex behavioral symptoms (Fagerholm et al., 2015; Meijer et al., 2017; Stam, 2014). In this study, we investigated associations between altered network topology and cognitive functioning in glioma survivors by exploring nodal and whole-brain graph measures as potential predictors.
