Purpose/Objective:

Remnographic follow-up after stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) is crucial to identify early regional progression. The aim of the study was to determine the survival impact of the remnographic reassessment. The primary endpoint was the overall survival (OS) impact of regional progression at MRI_1 (defined as the first MRI performed post-SRT).

Material/Methods:

We retrospectively analyzed 681 adult patients with solid cancer with brain metastases treated with hypofractionated SRT at the Brest University Hospital between 01/01/2014 and 07/15/2022. We then selected only patients who had an avalaible MRI_1 and for whom it was possible to calculate the DS-GPA score, thus obtaining 685 treatment courses and 540 patients (869 brain metastases).
