Conclusion:

In this large monocentric study, RT confirms is beneficial impact both on OS and DFS in anaplastic meningioma while its role in atypical meningioma remain controversial as some patients could potentially avoid the neurotoxicity of radiotherapy. Prospective trials currently ongoing will clarify with a higher level of evidence the role of adjuvant radiotherapy in atypical meningioma, especially those completely resected.
