Conclusion:

In our monoinstitutional retrospective study, a good local and biochemical control was obtained in pts with large pituitary adenomas, or in proximity of optic pathways, who cannot be treated with GK SRS. Late visual toxicity is acceptable, given the close relationships with the optical pathways.
