Conclusion: Our results support that a high rise of ADC values (ADC-response) at early time points during follow-up of NPC with SBI has a higher diagnostic value for response evaluation in addition to conventional MRI. Late/non-responders could be at higher risk of metastatic spread or infectious complications. A prospective assessment is planned.
