Conclusion: Although relevant increase in accumulated dose was seen in nearly half of the patients without ART, there was minimal effect of unselected ART on improving doses to OAR in a DP setting. Selecting patients for ART based on accumulated dose showed more promise, but its impact was limited to the larynx. However, it is important to note that accumulated doses were not prospectively utilized in ART. Integrating dose accumulation prior to ART for patient selection could therefore potentially improve ART effectiveness.
