Conclusion: IMPT was associated with significantly lower rates of acute toxicities, including xerostomia, pain, dysgeusia and dysphagia, with lesser weight loss in NPC patients compared to VMAT. These findings highlight the potential of IMPT to improve patient outcomes by minimizing treatment-related acute side effects.
