Conclusion: CRT is associated with a higher rate of TME free survival at 12 months compared with SCRT. The magnitude of the observed difference between OP treatment arms is less in the phase III population. Treatment related toxicity is extremely low. Further follow up is required to capture local regrowths prior to reporting the primary end point and survival data.
