Conclusion: Multi-modality imaging facilitates structure delineation of pelvic BM and ABM. Dose reduction to pelvic BM or ABM can be achieved through use of planning strategies and treatment techniques. Developing a predictive model requires a comprehensive analysis of response measurements and clinical confounding factors. Due to the multifactorial and heterogeneous nature of HT, further investigation is required to link dose sparing to a reduction in hematologic toxicity.
