Digital Poster Cardiac Substructure Dosimetry in Lung Cancer Patients Undergoing Post-Operative Radiotherapy Melek Tugce Yilmaz, Pervin Hurmuz, Ezgi Gurlek, Demet Yildiz, Mustafa Cengiz Department of Radiation Oncology, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Ankara, Turkey Purpose/Objective: Research on cardiac dosimetry primarily targets patients undergoing definitive CRT. Although similar mechanisms are assumed, cardiac toxicity from surgery in patients may necessitate specific dose constraints during post operative radiotherapy (PORT). The favorable performance status of operated patients and less medical comorbidity distinguish this cohort from those receiving definitive CRT. This study aimed to investigate the significance of the dose received by the heart and its substructures on survival in patients who received PORT. Material/Methods: A retrospective evaluation was conducted on sixty patients who underwent PORT from 2011 to 2021. The substructures of the heart were delineated on the simulation computed tomography scans of the patients (Figure 1).
