Clinical – Mixed sites & palliation

ESTRO 2025

Results: The target accrual was reached in September 2024. Table 1 shows the patients’ characteristics (median age: 68.6 years, four males, the primary tumor was lung cancer in three patients and renal cell carcinoma in two). Treatment planning was successful for all five patients with six treatment sites, and all plans were deliverable. The radiotherapy completion rate (primary endpoint) was 100%. The secondary endpoint, TIC, was 44.6 (range: 34 – 54) minutes on average.

Conclusion: Palliative irradiation using dCT was feasible. Radiotherapy treatment planning using dCT in advance decreased the patients’ time spent in the department and number of visits as well as enabled radiotherapy within 1 day of the initial consultation.
