Conclusion: We found an unexpectedly low rate of malnutrition that could be explained by good management in the outpatients setting. In our study there was no relation between NS and QoL probably due to other factors influencing QoL. Our findings underscore the need for comprehensive nutritional assessment and the implementation of appropriate interventions to improve clinical outcomes.
